Association of African Exhibition Organisers
AAXO was formed as a collective platform to represent the organiser industry at large by promoting growth and development while addressing the industry’s challenges. Its efforts are directed towards its mission of being the respected authority and representative of the exhibition organising industry responsible for governance, skills development and research while upholding world-class industry standards. This, in turn, is designed to be the engine that drives the African exhibition and organiser growth.
Association of Hotel Professionals - Kenya
The Association was founded in recognition of the industry need for competent, unbiased advice, professional guidance and sound judgment on the many diversified challenges encountered in the hotel industry. The Association believes that by clearly recognizing the hotel operations function as a profession, and by harnessing the collective knowledge and experiences of those engaged in hotel operations, the quality of service delivery to the industry will be greatly enhanced. Members of the Association have demonstrated their integrity and are qualified by their experiences, training and knowledge to develop and express sound judgment on issues in the hotel industry.
Hotels Association of Tanzania
HAT is a non-profit registered organization and a member of the Tourism Confederation Tanzania (TCT), the tourism apex body which consists of 11 other Tourism Private Sector associations. Our ultimate goal is to make Tanzania hospitality industry competitive globally and viable for the investors, employers, employees, local communities, suppliers and the Government. The Hotels Association of Tanzania with its members have set a vision of working in partnership with our Ministry and its respective authorities, and all other tourism associations and stakeholders to promote, strengthen and protect our industry to be financial, socially and environmentally sustainable.

Tourism Professional Association
History
TPA is provided for in the Tourism Act 2011, which is the legislation responsible for the development, management, marketing, and regulation of sustainable tourism and tourism-related activities and services in Kenya. Section 4 of the aforesaid statute establishes the Tourism Regulatory Authority.
The establishment of TPA is brought about by the need to form a self-regulating professional association as envisaged in Section 11 (1-4) of TRA Regulations Act 2014 as follows:
We are currently working on the establishment of programs that will build strong collaborative partnerships between industry, academia, and government.
UNIVERSITY OF NAIROBI WOMEN’S ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT HUB
The University of Nairobi African Women Studies Centre – Women Economic Empowerment (UON - WEE) Hub, is a multi-disciplinary and multi-sectoral research and evidence Hub, with the aim of strengthening the generation and use of evidence to advance women’s economic empowerment and gender equality in Kenya. The UON WEE Hub is housed by the African Women Studies Centre in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. The Mandate of the Hub is to contribute to evidence-based decision making and implementation of policies and programmes informed by what works for women economic empowerment in Kenya. The Hub’s research aims to promote growth of women’s SMSEs through greater access to government affirmative funds and programmes, and greater participation of women in informal and formal employment among other issues.
The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI)
